From the renders
The dream is more feeling than floor plan: calm, light, and the water never far from the everyday. In the renders it’s a contemporary house of timber and stone, flat-roofed so it sits low and quiet against the shoreline instead of shouting over it.
It’s designed around the life we actually live — sandy shoes, wet weather, long summers, slow winters. Materials that get better as the coast weathers them. Windows placed where the light and the views do the decorating.
And to say it plainly, because this is the internet: it isn’t for sale, and it never will be. We’re not building a project. We’re building home.

Timber in the salt air
It's all through the renders, warm against the sky. What the coast makes of it over the years is a story we're looking forward to watching.
Stone that grounds it
Even in the renders, it's the part of the house that looks like it's been here longest. Stone doesn't hurry. Neither, it turns out, does a build.
A flat roof, full of sky
Keeping the whole thing low against the shoreline, so the drama stays where it belongs: the weather.
The light off the water
Gold in the evening, pewter in a squall, never quite the same twice. Whatever else the house does, we want it to let that light in.
Built for salt air
Everything chosen to cope with the coast — because the sea always, always gets a vote.
Sandy shoes, inevitably
Life here comes with sand in it — shoes, pockets, everywhere. Whatever the plans end up saying, the house will have to be relaxed about that.
