We've barely stopped looking at the renders. It's a strange thing, seeing a feeling drawn as a building.

How do you dream up a forever home? For us, it starts with feelings rather than rooms. Calm. Light. The sea never far away.
In the renders, it’s a house of timber and stone with a flat roof that keeps the whole thing low and quiet against the water. Nothing showy — a house that seems happiest letting the water do the talking.
We keep opening the renders on our phones at odd hours, the way you check on something sleeping. Is it still there? Is it still right? It is. It really is.
For now it lives on screens. One day we’ll live in it.
