Wish you were here

We’d been writing these entries mostly for ourselves. A record for later — for the little ones, and for the future versions of us who’ll stand in a finished kitchen and forget how hard-won it was.

But a build like this is better shared. The day-to-day postcards live over on Instagram, and the longer chapters on YouTube — full story over there, as we like to say.

It’s an odd thing, opening the door to strangers before there’s a door to open. But we suspect a lot of people are quietly dreaming of the same thing.

So — wish you were here. And now, in a way, you are.
